Marketing Assistant

We are looking for a passionate Marketing Assistant to join the team. This role reports to the CEO and will work closely with the whole team.

This is the perfect role for someone who is very, very passionate about Snuggle Hunny, baby products, marketing, content and inspiring customers. You will need to be proactive and a self starter as every day is varied.

This role is for someone who is super organised and has solid experience and a role in another company in marketing and wants to hone their skills and expand their remit with Snuggle Hunny. You will be comfortable approaching all areas of marketing with drive and passion.

A big part of your role will include managing the admin around photoshoots, events and campaign management. You will be the sort of person who thrives on planning and executing. 

You will also be comfortable with managing our Pinterest and YouTube channels and being proactive about recording content. This could be BTS at a photoshoot or content in the office. We're looking for someone who is very proactive in this area. If you're 'bugging' the team to shoot content this is for you. 

There will be other marketing duties which you will need to do as they arise.  

This role is based at our office in Rouse Hill. We are open to part time hours for this role.

 

Responsibilities: 

  • Manage and organise photoshoots and coordinate admin around these shoots
  • Work with the team to organise and execute in-person and online events
  • Record content and BTS at shoots and events and load to social media channels
  • Create trending content for TikTok, Instagram stories and reels, working alongside the social/ community team
  • Create content on Canva as needed
  • Analyse how the content is performing
  • Manage our Pinterest account including loading new content and keeping it fresh
  • Manage our YouTube Channel including loading new content and keeping it fresh
  • Assist with collection and promotional launches and work entailed
  • Email marketing, if capacity and skills

Garment Technician

The Garment Technician is our product superstar and you will work with the product team to drive the creation & production of products. You'll manage the fit sampling process, fit sessions, measures, technical feedback, creation and maintenance of specs and technical packs.

We’re looking for someone with experience in baby and childrenswear and a healthy attention to detail. You will be incredibly organised with strong prioritisation skills and thrive in an environment where you're multi-tasking.

This role is based in our office in Rouse Hill, NSW and could be part time (4 days a week) or full time - many of our team are parents and work part time so we're flexible. Some remote working is an option once established in the role.

 

Responsibilities: 

  • Create tech packs according to Snuggle Hunny design standards
  • Measure & process all samples against specifications sent to the vendors.
  • Manage and maintain all tech packs adhering to the critical path
  • Manage fit schedules and sessions.
  • Identify and prevent potential production and QC problems
  • Ensure size standards and construction methods are consistent across all products.
  • Liaise with Production Department on production timelines.
  • Liaise with suppliers with regards to fit and construction changes and answer technical questions. 
  • Knowledge of quality standards and inspection processes.
  • Assist with selection of trims and fabric
  • Inspecting final shipping samples for quality and fit and cross-checking with what was approved to send any feedback to the manufacturer prior to shipping bulk product.

Skills

  • Minimum of 3-5 years working within a similar role
  • Strong garment construction and technical experience across fashion, ideally baby/ kidswear
  • Knowledge & understanding of Baby & Kids labelling requirements in accordance with the product design & materials used
  • Solid knowledge of garment specification, technical fit with grading experience
  • Strong and clear communication skills with both offshore suppliers and internal departments
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail
  • Sound understanding of critical path and timelines, with excellent time management skills
  • Knowledge in Excel, Adobe Illustrator, CAD drawing, Tech packs & specification sheets
  • Thinks outside the box to develop innovative solutions
  • Passionate about purpose driven brands and values
  • Proactive interest in sustainable product principles and processes
  • Keen interest & passion for Baby & Kids fashion & lifestyle products
