Production Assistant

The Role

An exciting newly created position has arisen in our team to support our Production, Development & Marketing areas as a Production Assistant.

In this role, you will act in a critical support role, liaising with our suppliers and having responsibility for ensuring our beautiful product moves efficiently through our critical path to the end customer. Working cross functionally across departments, you will be the go-to for all things suppliers, samples and assisting the team more widely with a range of tasks.

You will report to the Production Manager.

We’re looking for someone with experience in fashion (ideally baby and childrenswear but not essential) and an obsessive attention to detail. You will be incredibly organised with strong prioritisation skills and thrive in an environment where you're multi-tasking.

This role is based in our office in Rouse Hill, NSW and is full time although we are open to part time (4 days a week). Due to the nature of the role and the need to be around product this is not a remote role.


Responsibilities: 

  • Support the Production Manager & Garment Technician across the full critical path. Ensuring Development, Production & delivery schedules are kept up to date, maintaining accurate records

  • Track & document sample & fabric deliveries, to ensure that everything is on-time according to the critical path

  • Liaise with offshore factories on samples, fabric, trims & packaging approvals

  • Measure & process all samples against specifications sent to the vendors. Identifying and preventing potential production and QC problems

  • Assist with freight paperwork documentation

  • Assist with QC shipments upon arrival to warehouse

  • Maintain in-house sampling movement between departments. From marketing samples through to shipment samples

  • Support fit schedules and sessions

  • Assist with creation of tech packs according to Snuggle Hunny design standards

  • Prepare samples for photoshoots and attend and support at the photoshoots


Skills

  • Minimum of 2-3 years working within a similar role

  • Garment tech or production experience, ideally in baby/ kidswear

  • Knowledge & understanding of Baby & Kids labelling requirements in accordance with the product design & materials used

  • Knowledge of quality standards and inspection processes.

  • Strong and clear communication skills with both offshore suppliers and internal departments

  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail

  • Sound understanding of critical path and timelines, with excellent time management skills

  • Knowledge in Excel, Adobe Illustrator, CAD drawing, Tech packs & specification sheets

  • Thinks outside the box to develop innovative solutions

  • Passionate about purpose driven brands and values

  • Proactive interest in sustainable product principles and processes

  • Keen interest & passion for Baby & Kids fashion & lifestyle products

Content Creator

Snuggle Hunny is looking for a motivated and passionate Content Creator to join our team.

We are a beautiful baby and kids brand and we love story telling. We see everything as content whether that’s what’s happening in the warehouse, office, at photoshoots and also creating beautiful content for our many launches.

We create content that is scroll stopping, engaging and tells our story. We love trends if they work for our brand – it’s really important our content tells our story.


Are you our new Content Creator?

We are looking for someone who lives and breathes content creation and has proven experience.

You will be a storyteller who is happy in front of the camera as well as behind it. You will be creating content for our digital channels and paid marketing ie Facebook ads.

You will be creating concepts for content that reflect what’s happening in the business and key messages. You’ll shoot and edit the content across videos and still images for TikTok, Instagram, Pinterest and YouTube.

You’ll be across trends and will ensure these fit the Snuggle Hunny brand and you’ll be able to implement them fast. Things move fast in consumer so you’ll work with a can do attitude and at speed.

You’ll want to understand how your content is performing so you’ll analyse your content and bring those insights into future content.

You will also assist the marketing team with photoshoots, events and help with general marketing as needed and time allows.


About You…..

  • You have 1-2 years of content creation in a business, ideally ecommerce

  • You’ll be confident, positive, very collaborative and a good listener

  • You’re a passionate content creator who loves being behind and in front of the camera

  • You’re proactive and a self starter

  • Across and in-tune with trends and what’s evolving in the baby space

  • Skilled in shooting and editing using mobile and ideally a DSLR

  • Highly skilled in using video editing tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut, Capcut and also Canva

  • You’re obsessive about detail and producing the best result possible

  • Passionate about ecommerce and the baby space
